| Dear Parents/Guardians, Hope you all have had a lovely Bank Holiday. We find ourselves in the last term of dance! How did that happen? We would like to Thank you all for your support over the last 5 weeks its been a difficult time for everyone and I hope we have continued to inspire and encourage our parallel family to keep dancing. For our last term we have something special to offer via our online lessons. Every Friday there will be a guest dance teacher workshop for you all to enjoy. Don’t forget your £2.50 a week contribution grants access to all classes not just your own. I know I’ve enjoyed Lucy taking over the childcare for 30 minutes or so giving me some much needed peace and quiet. Why not take advantage and try some other styles too. Graded lessons in Tap and Ballet will continue to learn the examination syllabus but Were shaking up other lessons a bit to keep things fresh. We will be leading more one off workshop style lessons focusing on technique and new choreography. So make sure you don’t miss out on improving your catalogue of choreography. Were also introducing weekly rewards for younger dancers who are making good progress and joining in or just because they are being a positive force for their class mates. I love a reward and a parallel medal received in lockdown would be very memorable. Don’t forget all the glorious benefits dance can have on your child particularly at the moment. Irrespective of the skill based benefits it can improve mental health, body image and relieve boredom.
