Street dance is an umbrella term for a large number of social dance styles such as break-dancing, popping, locking, hip-hop (aka hip-hop freestyle or new style), house and breaking. It’s one of our most popular and successful styles amogst the pupils at Parallel with our street groups regularly competing across the country. The pupils are encouraged to bring a sense of attitude befitting the genre into their performances along with high tempo routines and a great deal of synchronicity.
We have junior and senior groups as well as competition squads for those that want to take their street dance to the next level.
