Dear Parents/Guardians

First of all a big thank you to all of those who have supported us over this strange and difficult time. The zoom classes have been a great way to learn new techniques whilst maintaining our strength, flexibility and relationships with our Parallel family.

We have really enjoyed being able to see you and how well you’ve coped in lockdown and its opened up another form of communication should we need it in future. We will continue to use Classmanager for admin including fees from September. We will also retain the Zoom unique meeting codes should we need to revert back to online learning at any time.

End of term plans

On the 17th we will be holding a quiz for all the students to celebrate the end of the term.

Pre school, juniors and intermediate will be from 5.30pm.

All seniors and parents will be from 7.00pm.

Bonus points for dressing up as something beginning with the letter of your name, for example Lucy could be loo roll. The winner of best costume will also get extra points and points mean PRIZES people.

There will be a 1st, 2nd and boobie prize for the loser. This will be a great way for all the children to see everyone and have some fun with their parallel family before the summer holidays. Please do take part even if you’ve not been able to do the Zoom classes.

Holiday Sessions

Over the 6 weeks Holidays there will be one workshop a week for both Junior and Senior students with either a guest choreographer or Lucy. The cost of these workshops will be £15 for the whole 6 weeks just £2.50 a class. As quest workshops usually start at £10 this is a great opportunity and will hopefully break up those 6 weeks holiday blues. Holiday sessions can be paid by Paypal or Baccs. The unique Code will only be given to those who have paid.

Covid Secure

From September (hopefully) and if all goes to plan we will be back in the studio. We will be putting together risk assessments and using government and IDTA guidelines to ensure we are operating safely.

Some of the precautions may include and are not limited to; –

·         Taking of temperature on arrival (hands free)

·         Hand Sanitisers before and after lessons

·         Doors and windows open for ventilation

·         Face masks (optional)

·         2m distancing marks on floor

·         Bring Own Drink/Disposable cups

·         Self service first aid station

·         One person in toilet at a time, regular cleaning

·         No contact work

·         Max no of students 15 per class

This list is not exhaustive and we will keep up to date with all changes and recommendations, adapting accordingly. Hopefully this will not be long term and we will get back to normal soon but for now the safety of our Parallel family is of up most importance.

Stay Safe

Thanks again for all your support

Emma and Lucy
